We write clear and consistent zoning codes that remove the regulatory barriers to achieving your community’s vision.

ZoneCo’s primary focus is crafting custom-tailored, clear, consistent, user-friendly, equitable, resilient, and defensible zoning codes.

We believe that the intersection of urban and environmental planning, law, urban design, and historic preservation allows for more creative and defensible solutions to complex challenges.

Zoning outcomes must include a focus on racial, economic, and environmental equity and justice. Learn more about how we are sustaining communities through our Equitable Zoning Initiative.

The “Pike with a Purpose” community assembly was a three-day design charrette focused on visioning a new village center in the study area of Ohio Pike (S.R. 125) between Church Street and Amelia-Olive Branch Road. The study area was once the Village of Amelia, which was dissolved by its residents in 2019 and is now part of Batavia and Pierce Townships.

The Pike with a Purpose project was presented at the CNU32 conference in Cincinnati in May 2024.
